Npr shuffle podcast not updating

Does everything you want it to without question or complication. Having trouble since I upgraded to the gs7 This has been the only podcast app I've ever considered using until I upgraded to the Galaxy s7.

Episodes won't stream for more than a minute or two without cutting off so I have to download the episodes but they won't download in the background.
